Views of Ascoli are the subject that most often I am asked to produce. Since I am not so fond of those that look like photographs, I try to give an interpretation that corresponds to my sensitivity. In some of the majolicas I combine my love for nature with views of historic monuments, since the urban landscape and the natural one, in my imagination, should always be in harmony. In others, I like to give the idea of how, in the historical center, centuries-old architectural elements are blending with modern life settings.
