The exhibition “With Earth and With Fire”, dedicated to the majolica art in Ascoli Piceno from the fifteenth century to the present, was inaugurated last April. The exhibition, curated by Giuseppe Matricardi and Stefano Papetti, will remain open to the public until 3 November 2019 at the Museum of Ceramic Art in Ascoli Piceno, and it celebrates the production of ceramics in Ascoli from the end of the fourteenth century to the present day, with a large section dedicated to the ceramists currently active in the area as well as a many rare antiques from private collections.
