Butterflies – Monarch, Macao, Vanessa (Common Vanessa, Thistle Vanessa, and the flamboyant Aglais Io), Junonia, Apatura Ilia, Aglais… in this large lamp base you find all the beautiful butterflies that nature gifts us with, overlapping each other.

A cloud of gold dust – as if scattered by their wings – illuminates all, making everything glitter.

To those who go hiking in the woods it might have happened, sometimes, to receive a wonderful gift: to happen upon and surprise some wild creature who studies us, for a moment, to understand if we present a threat for them, and then moves on… it is just a fleeting moment, but it’s dense with an extraordinary emotion.

Wall Clock – Ø cm. 25

High-fire (920 °C)

In this majolica wall clock I wanted to evoke a summer wheat field, like those that are starting to be seen again since there are farmers who grow wheat without using pesticides… then the poppies and even a few cornflowers are blooming once again, adding color and cheer. Sometimes you might even have some marvelous sightings and get a glimpse of a shy hare, a wren, or some vanessa butterfly.

I chose motifs that bring out the full chromatic richness that nature offers us. This wall clock brightens the wall with a decoration of vibrant and festive butterflies.
